someone please just pull the trigger. Its over anyways. I owe the gas/electric company 7 months worth of money because some ass hole closed my account when I called about a question 3 days after I moved in. Excel energy can just burn in hell for all I care. Maybe I'll just become a prostitute. Or maybe I'll get a job at a bar...I think thats a better idea.
On a lighter note, I found the love of my life.

Leo's back home and doing well.
I've been looking at old livejournal entries and it makes me sad to see how things have ended up. People have changed, moved on from the whole ypsi scene (including myself), and life just isn't the same. I miss the days when drinking wasn't an option, we just did it, and when staying at home on a weekend was forbidden. When we hid the cats in my car so Rob wouldn't see them. When we all had inside jokes. When everyone got along...When life was sweet.

Leo has been in and out of the ER for the past 2 days. They are keeping him till at least Monday and they don't know whats wrong with him. He's been barfing uncontrollably since yesterday morning. The vet just called me to let me know that he has stopped vomiting but has gastritis (inflammation of the e tummy). They took a barium x-ray and no foreign body showed up which makes me somewhat happy...No surgery...at least to remove something. Oy vey!! Poor baby! EWW I babysat tonight and the dad has bloody feathered duck guts in the kitchen while I'm cooking the kids dinner. I gagged and wanted to barf all over it. Tomorrow I'm going skiing. Can't wait!! If anyone wants to come out here for new years, your more than welcome. A bunch of friends and I are going to rent a cabin in the mountains and get wasted. Woo woo. Lets hope Leo's ok!

This morning when I woke up, it was -7. ewwww now its only -1. The high for today...7. I think denver has turned into a freezer. In other news, I got a 95% in my medical terminology class, and an 87% in Chem. I wish I could say the same for math but I had really bad test anxiety when I went to school today. oh well, I had an A before the final so I'm hoping it won't drop too much. I'm going skiing this weekend with Jen and Matt. Can't wait. Reggie wore his little $1 shoes from target today. I didn't want to put them on him but it was so cold he kept switching legs to limp on. So I brought him in, put them on him and took him out again. It was hilarious. Never again will I subject my dog to such humiliation. And just for the record...Reggie's girlfriend bought them for him...NOT ME. Today I'm planning on watching movies ALL day. We will see how long that actually lasts. The other day some scary guy (who I had never seen before) was blocking the stairs while his friend was upstairs fighting with his girlfriend. creepy! But they left soon after so I didn't call the cops. Theres been quite a few domestic violence cases in my complex...so many that the cops are starting to tell people they won't come in here. now I feel real safe. How's ypsi these days? I miss the 419 parties...and ypsi parties in general. Hope everyone is having fun there. Miss you all!

Things are going pretty well these days. Jen gave me a snowboarding lesson on Sunday and even though it took me literally 2 hours to get down a 5 minute run, it was still fun. I actually stayed up for a full 5 seconds at the end. One of the many times I was sitting on the mountain, a guy stopped by me and told me it was a bad idea to sit in the middle of the run. I told him if I could help it I wouldn’t be sitting at all but unfortunately that’s not the case. The next day I could hardly move. Every mucle in my body hurt so bad. Jack is super creepy these days and I avoid him at all costs. I never realized how big of a hard ass he was. Wings play the Avs tomorrow and I’m so excited. Everyone here makes fun of me for being a wings fan but I don’t care. I’m damn proud! Finals are next week. They are going to kick my ass. I have a chem exam tomorrow and its on my least favorite things in the world…meiosis and mitosis. Yuck!! But since I had to know it last year, it was easier to remember. Rent comes out tomorrow too! I can’t wait!! Hope everyone has a good thanksgiving. I’ll leave you with some random pictures. ( Read more... )

I'm alive and well, no more worries. midterms went better than I had planned. I got %100 on my math midterm and before this class, I hadn't taken a math class since high school. The mountains here are getting more beautiful each day. last night they got pounded with snow and this morning it was like looking at a picture. Reggie got a new frost free jacket from old navy and he looks so damn cute in it. Yes, I'm a dork who dresses up her dog. But mostly for comfort. Its cold out there and I don't want little Reginald to be cold too. So call me crazy. Hope everyone is doing well. much love.

I start school tomorrow. Its about damn time! I feel like a little kid again when I used to get excited for school. I wonder how long this will last. I probably won't write in here very much after this entry since this school has a reputation of being super hard. wish me luck. see you in 2 years.

This weekend was awesome. We ended up going to Telluride on Saturday and staying there overnight. Its a beautiful small town in the middle of the mountains. I guess there was a blues festival going on and Sunday night Al Green was playing. Too bad we couldn't stay. We took an off-road trail back to the highway on Sunday morning and 90% of the way was spent on the edge of the moutain. We got to the top of the pass and we were at 13,000 ft. It was freezing and windy. But soooo beautiful. I posted pictures on my mac site. Just go to Fun with Jack and its called road trip september 17-18, 2005.
I applied at Panera Bread but am not taking the job because the guy who interviewed me made a comment about me being from Farmington hills and being able to afford to go to bel-rea. It wasn't worth the $7 an hour to deal with someone like that. So I'll apply at the starbucks there building right down the street. I need morning hours since I go to class all afternoon.

The other day Jack ran into my apartment and told me I had to come outside immediately. I ran and as soon as I got outside I saw a beautiful rainbow. and we were right in the middle. I posted pictures at the end. Jack got a dog. Her name is Molly and she's the cutest black lab ever. I think she has some chow in her as well. Anyways, this weekend we went camping up in the mountains, by a beautiful lake...a beautiful lake filled with giardia (I'll explain later). So we camped there on Saturday night and sunday we went off-roading with the doggies. Jack thought he could do something impossible so yep...he got us stick in a giant mud pit. a half hour after shoving logs under the tires, this couple drove by in there old old pathfinder. she helped us...for 2 and a half more hours and finally we got out. In jack's attempt with the logs, he threw one in and it splashed directly at me. I was covered in mud...totally from a movie. Jack also decided to start digging the jeep out and cut his hand open so badly that even after he tied a sock around his hand and covered it in electrical tape, it still bled thru. He refused to go to the hospital though. Anyways, after filling up their trunk with rocks...twice...we got out. yay!! jack was head to toe covered in a thick mud substance. I hope he now won't drive through anything so deep.
So the giardia...while we were camping, reggie plopped himself in the lake and swam around. When he came out his coat was a shade of green. ick. So this morning he wakes me up barfing so I take him outside and he has massive diarrhea. So it was off to the vet for Reggie and I bright and early. Yep, sure enough...the lake had giardia and reggie's now in the hospital. poor guy. well...enough of my ranting about my weekend...here are some pictures. ( Read more... )

wow. I haven't been this happy in a really long time. I can't even tell you the last time I was this happy about someone. Last Saturday we went hiking in the Rocky's, and yesterday we went off-roading in the mountains somewhere. It was awesome. Scary as hell at some points because the trail was so steep but it was still so great. Reggie came with us yesterday. I think he enjoyed it as well. At the top we had a subway picnic. It was so wonderful. You could see the rain in the distance but it never actually rained on us which is a plus. We drove thru creeks and everything. Ugh it was amazing. Anyways, yea so everything is great. Today Jack and I went to all the local animal shelters to try and find him a dog. We finally did but when we went to go ask to see him, someone had already fallen in love. bummer. There will be more dogs. I think I'm meeting him at lunch tomorrow at a shelter to see some other dogs. I love just driving around with him. He makes me so happy. Nothing can bring me down when I'm with him. OH! and my cousin's pregnant! Finally!!! But her and her husband are moving to cleveland. Well, here are pictures from this weekend. ( Read more... )

Everything is going so great out here. The hike with my neighbor went so well. We ended up doing a 7 mile hike all up and down. We stopped at the visitor center on the way there to look at the view. It's amazing. And it was super cold since we were so far up. We even walked through some snow. Weird. I'm not sure its national or not but there was a missing park ranger in the Rocky's who had been missing for 8 days. They found him the day I was on my hike but he had suffered a fall and had died. Scary shit I tell you.
So my kitchen table was delivered today. They called last night and told me it would be here at 7am so of course I was up waiting. They didn't end up bringing it till 8:45. YUCK! Anyways, my cousin came in town the other day for work. It was really nice seeing her since I hardly ever get to.
Life's great. I'm going back to sleep.

Day 12 in Denver...and loving every minute of it. Its so beautiful here. waking up every morning to the mountains in the distance just puts a smile on my face. I have met some people in my building. My neighbor even invited me to go to the renaissance festival with him and his wife. Apparently they dress up for the occasion and even had an outfit for me...yea I didn't end up going. But I am going up into the mountains on Saturday with another neighbor and Reggie. He wants to get a dog before then so that we can both bring our dogs. Everyone here is beyond nice. For those of you who haven't seen the Rocky's in person, I definitely recommend it. Reggie and I went on a small hike this morning in the foothills. It was pretty. I posted pictures behind the cut. I miss all of you. Come visit so you can experience the beautiful mountains. ha I sound like a spokesperson. ( Read more... )

Yesterday my car left for Denver. I hate not having a car. I used my dad's for work today. It was my last day and let me tell you, it was nuts. We were booked the whole day and to top it off we had flash flood warnings. The whole parking lot became a small lake and so everyone was moving there cars to the outer parts of the parking lot. I run out to move my car and I almost started swimming. I kid you not, the water was up to my crotch! any higher and the inside of the car would have been filled. So whatever I come back and steal some scrubs and threw mine in the dryer. Still non-stop craziness in there. I didn't get out of work till 2:30 and I left before everyone else since I was meeting noonie and hoody at lunch. So yea, my last day at work was a memorable one. I leave on Thursday and can't wait. I'm going back to ypsi tomorrow so I can take some garbage out and also to get the comcast modem so I don't get charged for stealing it. I don't know if I will be there long enough to see everyone because I have shit to do at home. Stay out of trouble. I'll miss you all.
much love.

Leah- I saw our favorite camper last night...oh yes, I saw Molli. I saw her at my little sister's dance recital. Apparently she got kicked out of Tamarack as well for slapping a counselor across the face. Glad she didn't do that to one of us. I also saw Hannah Cohen and Hannah Gross. They are such cuties.
We hired a new girl at work and she's great. She's taking over when this girl and I leave. I can't wait to move. Another friend from work just found out she's pregnant with her second baby. Her little girl thought that it took one night for the baby to arrive. What a cutie. Nicole comes in town tonight..yay! Al and I are going to Ann Arbor tonight and then to Ypsi to pack some more. Grandpa is getting weaker each day but at least he's out of the hospital. I'm not sure what my grandma will do without him. Bark Busters came yesterday and straightened Reggie out. Now he's acting like a good boy. This is a strange post.

So my birthday kinda sucked. I went out at midnight on by birthday to Lucky's with my cousin and her boyfriend since my friends at home aren't 21 yet or were out of town. I only had 2 drinks and a shot since i had to work at 8am the next morning. So I wake up the next morning and barf nonstop. I still go into work because duh, saturdays are our craziest days. So every few minutes I'm running to the bathroom to barf and finally they realized I couldn't work, so they sent me home. Turns out I had the flu...the flu on my 21st birthday. yuck!
I move in a little over a month and I can't wait. Tomorrow I'm starting to move my stuff home from ypsi and I can't wait. I'll still be up there once in a while when I'm not working and such, but for the most part I'm done with it. I sold my entertainment center and I'm really sad I can't take it with me. But what wont fit in my car must stay, and clearly, that won't with the rest of my belongings.
My little sister graduated last night and the power went out for a few minutes. It was kinda funny. Its really weird she's done with high school. I got to see a lot of my high school friends which was soo great.
